As a member of the Cape Agri Employers' Organization's Executive Committee, he is accredited to advise and represent employers in the processes of the “CCMA” (CCMA - Commission for Conciliation, Mediation and Arbitration).
He serves on Agri Western Cape's Labour Policy Committee, was the official adviser during the De Doorns labour unrest/ strikes during 2012 and a member of the negotiating panel during the dispute. For the past five years he has been a member of the judging panel of the Agri Western Cape’s 'Young Farmer of the Year' competition.
